Peppe (short for Giuseppe) is the founder, guide, and heart of Portugal Journeys With Peppe. With years of experience, a passion for storytelling, and deep love for Portugal, Peppe offers private, tailor-made tours full of charm, history, and authenticity. Your journey won’t just be guided — it will be felt.

2. What kind of tours do you offer?

We specialise in private, guided tours across Portugal, with a strong focus on local culture, hidden gems, food, and personal connection. Whether it's a one-day escape from Lisbon, a multi-day road trip, or a deep dive into Portuguese wine country, all tours are customised to your interests.

3. Are the tours private?

Yes. All our tours are exclusively private, meaning it’s just you, your group, and Peppe — no strangers, no crowds, just a personalised experience.

4. How do I book a tour?

You can book a tour by contacting us directly via the contact form, email, or WhatsApp. We’ll work with you to design your perfect itinerary, confirm dates, and handle all the details.

5. What’s included in the tour price?

Each tour includes:

  • Private transportation

  • Expert guiding by Peppe

  • Custom itinerary planning

  • Bottled water 

  • Pick-up and drop-off at your accommodation

Extras like meals, wine tastings or entrance tickets are not included, unless agreed upon booking.

6. What’s your cancellation policy?

We try to be fair and flexible.

  • 7 working days or more: Full refund

  • 3 to 5 working days: 50% refund

  • Less than 48 hours: No refund

7. Do you offer tours for families with children or seniors?

Absolutely! Our tours are adapted to your pace and interests. Whether you're travelling with young children, older family members, or multi-generational groups, we’ll make it comfortable, fun, and memorable for everyone.

8. Do you run tours all year round?

Yes, we operate year-round, including winter months. Each season offers a different perspective of Portugal — fewer crowds in the low season, amazing festivals in summer, and beautiful scenery all year long.

9. Do you offer airport pick-up or drop-off?

Yes, we do. Airport transfers can be included in your tour package or arranged separately. This service is available only within the Greater Lisbon area, so please make sure to let us know in advance.

10. What if I have special requests (e.g. food restrictions, mobility issues)?

No problem. We customise each experience to your needs. Please inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions, mobility concerns, or special preferences, and we’ll make all necessary arrangements.

11. Are customers covered by insurance during the tours?

Yes. A civil liability insurance covers all customers during the entire duration of the tour. This insurance ensures protection in case of any unforeseen incidents while travelling with me or my guides.

12. Do I need personal travel insurance?

While it’s not mandatory, we strongly recommend having personal travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations, medical needs, or delays.

13. Can I combine destinations in one day (e.g. Sintra & Cascais)?

Definitely. We often plan multi-stop day trips from Lisbon or Porto — Sintra & Cascais, Évora & Monsaraz, Fátima & Nazaré & Óbidos, and more. Tell us what you're dreaming of — we’ll map it out.

14. Do you offer tours in languages other than English?

Yes, tours are available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, , and Italian. Let us know your language preference when booking.
